Hi, I’m Stas Sumarokov, an independent digital artist and generative media explorer currently living in Valencia, Spain. I hold a Master’s Degree in Advanced Digital Video (CEI Valencia/UDIMA Madrid) and a PhD in Economics (Novgorod State University), but my passion is real-time visual art and interactive installations.
I’ve been working as a TouchDesigner freelancer since 2019, creating custom patches and teaching others through tutorial videos. My workflow spans TouchDesigner and custom GLSL shaders, supplemented by the full Adobe Creative Suite (After Effects, Premier Pro, Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign). I also experiment with neural networks — since the release of DeepDream — integrating AI-generated imagery into my generative art practice.
I’m available for commercial collaborations, offering generative visuals, interactive projection, shader development, and educational consulting for creative teams. If you’re looking for a dedicated media artist or workshop instructor for your next project, let’s talk.

AbstractArte
It is a fictional brand and editorial project created during my master’s program in Spain. While the academic goal was to demonstrate advanced use of Adobe tools — InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop for the interactive PDF, and After Effects and Premiere Pro for the video — my personal focus was on testing the creative potential of generative AI tools (text and image models) in the second half of 2024. The result is a visual identity simulating a real art studio specializing in abstract decorative sculpture. The project is presented in Spanish, as it was developed within the academic context of a Spanish design school.
